WHAT TO ENGRAVE ON YOUR MEDICAL ID?
MAKE IT YOURS!
It is important to engrave the pertinent information that would be helpful to an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or other first responder in the event that you are unable to communicate for yourself.

We recommend you engrave:
FRONT
BACK
LIVING WITH DIABETES...
If you have Diabetes, make sure to identify the type!
It is important to indicate if you are insulin dependent, on an insulin pump or on medications. This will help the emergency personnel to properly diagnose your condition and expedite your treatment.
LIVING WITH A GASTRIC BYPASS BAND...
If you have had gastric bypass surgery or lap band surgery it is important to wear a medical ID bracelet to alert emergency technicians that you cannot have a blind NG tube inserted. You should also include the month and year of your surgery. Here is what we recommend for gastric bypass patients.
LIVING WITH AN ALLERGY...
If you have a life threatening allergy, get medical alert jewellery that says what your allergic to!

Allergies encompass a wide range of symptoms and affect people differently. The severity of allergic reactions can depend on the allergen type, the level of exposure and each individual's immune response. Allergens may include:
NUTS
DRUGS
DAIRY
SOY
FISH
EGGS
WHEAT
SHELLFISH
e.g penicillin
If you have a severe allergy, it is important to notify emergency personnel so that they can react and administer treatment quickly. Here are some samples of how to engrave a tag for allergies.
METAL ALLERGY? NO PROBLEM!
Our medical IDs come in Surgical Stainless Steel, 18K Gold Plated and Rose Gold Plated.
Some people may be allergic to nickel - the same metal that is used to make many medical id bracelets. However, our Surgical Stainless Steel bracelets are non-corrosive 316L and are hypoallergenic, even for those with a nickel allergy.
